Ideas for a better 2030

Students are thinking about how to make the future better. What ideas or inventions will improve our world. 

Here are the instructions for the students:

Some students had problems getting ideas. What will be different in 2030? As an inspiration, I made the following drawings.

 

(The presentation of the start-up ideas) In Munich we plan two actions:

1. Presentation on stage with crowd funding.

Each school sends one or two teams to the stage who present their ideas. You are allowed to use PowerPoint. The students may also show models or just deliver a fantastic speech. Time is limited to only four minutes for each team. The whole show will be entertaining and not too long.

After the show we play“crowd funding“. Thestudents get play money which they give to the different teams, so that we have a winner in the end. Every school gets the same amount of money with its name printed on it and students are not allowed to vote for their own teams.

The second game:

We do a poster session

The students present their ideas on a poster. In front of each poster a student stands and explains his ideas. Each school can register as many teams as they like. The best or the funniest teams give the stage presentations. Everyone else participates in the poster session.

There will also be a voting there. Every student gets a voting card. There are several questions. For example:

1. What idea will most likely improve our lives?

2. Which idea is the funniest?

3. Which poster is the most beautiful one?

4. etc.

So we get many winners in many different categories.
