The Program of the project ‘Winter Wonderland’

Winter is coming and our project is continuing … from November to March. We will finish the project in March and will fill the application for awarded from April to June. All activities, which we have to do, you have to integrate into the curriculum. I hope you will do successfully.

1. November- Create LOGO.  (We will use the program COLORILLO and will create the common picture – LOGO. )  
2. November  - ‘ We are waiting winter’ – make pictures or handicrafts about winter which we can use for LOGO too.
3. From November the 20^th to November the 26^th   you have to prepare the letters to all project partners with 3 Christmas decorations for each partner’s Christmas tree and 3 decorations for one partner’s window of the class and, please, send one post card with Christmas wishes for each partner. We have 8 partners. Every partners has to take photos with it and we will prepare common job using the web.tool google.doc. Christmas tree and the window will be had to prepare from 4 December to 10 December.
4. If you have a lot of snow, please, write wishes on the snow. Take photos, we will combine all wishes. It is one more common job!  Wishes on snow with colour water .
5. Winter is different sometimes we have a lot of snow, Sometimes winter is without snow. So when you have snow, you will build a snowman. Every snowman has got the letter. When we all combine all pictures, we will see the word eTwinning. Also, you can decorate your snowmen with national elements. (P.S. You can do this activity when snow will be! I hope our friends from Croatia will have snow too. 6. Let’s explore!  Let’s find out which classroom is the driest. All partners will pick and will collect pinecones and will put them in the classroom on the window still.  If your pinecones will open, therefore it is dry in your class.  ( We will do diagram about this experiment – our common job) P.S. please, share with us if you know one more experiment which we can do together and after them do diagram. )
7. We will say ‘goodbye’ winter and say ‘hello’ spring and will learn one game together. Maybe you know the best game, which we can learn together. Please, share with us and we will play together using webinar or skype!  ( in March )
8. Skype meeting before Christmas. . We will choose the best day for all us from the 18^th of December to the 24^th of December. We will sing song together and you will sing one more song in your native language. I will send the song on the 1^st of December, which we will sing.
9. Please, take some photos or drawings ‘ Winter Wonderland’ or ‘ We like winter’  ( in January)
10. exhibition of pupils’ drawings  –‘ Winter Wonderland‘ or photos ‘ I like winter’

1 step:  create the exhibition in your school (take photos or video about it)

2 step : send the best pictures  to Lithuania (Kaunas), where International exhibition will be organized.

International exhibition will be the common job of our project!

Teachers and pupils will receive certificates, because their drawing will be the best!

P.S.  paper is A 4 format, pictures can be horizontal or vertical

There are all common activities, which we have to do together. Don’t forget attach to the project all holidays which you usually celebrate in winter and all activities outdoor and indoor, which you would like to share with us. We have to do it, because each country has own tradition and own holidays.
