Cooperation with the ZOO

ELŻBIETA SOBOLEWSKA/MYSZKÓW/POLAND

Within the European eTwinning project entitled „Zoo” the group of „Dwarves” from Kindergarten no. 1 “Fairytale” cooperated with Śląski Ogród Zoologiczny in Chorzów.

They have received materials concerning exotic animals and these materials have been used during regular  classes. Zoo in Chorzów gave its patronage to the competition for children and animals „Exotic animals” and they awarded 3 special prizes which were family tickets to the zoo.
Borys’s family have virtually adopted one pink flamingo.
We are planning going to the trip to the zoo in Chorzów in June. It will be a summary of the project.

 

 

The competition for children and parents „Exotic animals” under the patronage of Śląski Ogród Zoologiczny in Chorzów.
 

All the competitors got the 1st place for their beautiful works on exotic animals. Additionally, works by

Oliwia, Borys and Radek were awarded with the special prize by the zoo in Chorzów- family tickets to the zoo.

The competitors got the diplomas and souvenirs. The works will be sent to the zoo in Chorzów.

We are glad that children are interested in animals and would like to thank for the engagement as well as a collaboration with the kindergarten.
