We had a little buterflyes Zoo at indergarten. We took nine catepilars. We could observe how they grow and how they change into a buterflyes.

Zoo children´s day at our kindergaten
We had a children´s day at kindergaten on the based on the book " Goodnight, Gorilla". Goodnight Gorilla tells the story of a group of zoo animals who escape their enclosures to follow their unwitting zookeeper home and into bed, much to the surprise of his wife.

We learned about the giraffe and her eating habbits. We also read books about her life. We completed a worksheet of symmetry and we also measured our height, to see who is taller, like giraffe!

We talked about lions. At first we saw the movie "LION KING" and then we observed some videos about their life. We made a lion craft and we read a story "The lion and the mouse", from a very famous greek story teller! Then we drew the story!

We also learned about crocodiles, dolphins and snakes. We made some crafts and we played online games!

We learned about owls. We observed videos in youtube about their life and we created crafts. We also completed a worksheet of owl symmetry.

We talked about parrots. We learned what they eat and where they live! We also made some crafts and worksheets.
