    Capela Hill, Rm. Vâlcea

    Capela Hill is situated in the western part of Râmnicu Vâlcea. It’s name is most likely derived from a now-destroyed Catholic chapel built in the area during the Habsburg takeover of Oltenia, in the first half of the 18th century.Part of the Southern Carpathians foothills, Capela Hill descends from an altitude of over 500 meters to the Olt River. The hill is partially developed into residential areas, but it also offers the town's main hiking and nature trails.

    Cozia National Park

     Cozia National Park with an area of 171 km² was declared a natural protected area by the Law Number.5 of March 6, 2000 and represents a mountainous area with flora and fauna specific Southern Carpathians. Besides it is peculiar aspect of flora elements, Cozia National Park has a good number of lichen species.

    Nicolae Romanescu Park, Craiova

    Nicolae Romanescu it is considered the largest natural park in eastern Europe.

    It was constructed between 1901 and 1903.
