We celebrate St. Patrick's Day every year in Ireland.  Schools close on March 17th and there are special events, including parades around the country.

In the week coming up to St. Patrick's Day we have "Seachtain na Gaeilge" in school, in which we celebrate our Irish language.

The children perform songs for each other in Irish in a special show.
