Project plan

February

1. We present ourselves on TwinSpace with photos and a text.
2. The children will draw the logo of the project and we share it on TwinSpace to be voted the best one.

March

1. We are going on a trip to the woods and we will share our thoughts.
2. We create the sheets of herbarium with the trees which grow in our countries. After having all the sheets collected, one herbarium will be made.
3. We make a poster containing a map of our own country, where photographs of the most common tree species are presented. For local trees in the region of our school, draw up single posters with the photograph, name, description of tree characteristics, indication of habitat, usefulness for Man, and a sample of leaves collected during the survey.

April

1. Meeting students on skype.
2. We research for local traditional fairytales whose theme are linked to the forest or trees. We could share the results on Twinspace and our pupils could have the opportunity to compare the characteristics of the stories obtained in different cultures.
3. We are writing a fairytale about trees.

May

1. We plant trees, we make the report of the planting.
2. Students perform artworks with natural materials that they find in the forest

June

1. We are preparing riddles and games about trees.
2. Meeting students on skype.
