June 2017 - We made it!!! Finally the recordings of our planets!!!

 

 

May 2017 - We are still trying to record our musical piece about the planets. We need a few more rehearsals, but we're getting there! ;)

26th April 2017 - We played Kahoot about our Solar System with Greece and Serbia. And we won!!! :) 

 

 

March 2017 - We have just finished writing our musical pieces. Now we are deciding on which instruments we will be playing it and we're rehearsing a lot!

 

Take a listen to our very first attempts to put everything together. Please don't make fun of us. We still need to rehearse a lot more to then make a proper recording. :(

 

 

16th February 2017 - Physics teacher Jorge Teixeira presented to us his work about the size of the stars. Out of this world!!!

 

 

1st February 2017 - Today, a 10th grade Biology class told us about our solar system. They researched a lot during their Biology lessons with teacher Isabel Nobre. They wrote a play about all the planets, the sun, the moons, asteroids and things like that and then they performed it for us. It was rather cool!!! :)

 

 

 

January 2017 - Time to start our musical creations about the planets. :)

PTclass6.2 will write about planet MARS.

 

 

PTclass6.3 will write about VENUS.

 

PTclass6.4 will write about JUPITER.

 

 

 

December 2016 - We made some Christmas postcards and send them by airmail to our partners.

 

 

 

 

November 2016 - We 'went on a mission' and recorded some Christmas wishes messages for our partners from the outerspace! :0

31st October 2016 - This week we travelled through Space. We were looking for aliens... and we found them! ;)

26th October 2016 - This week we made spooky sounds for Halloween using our own voices and other materials. Take a listen. :0

 

 

19th October 2016 - This week we are studying the sound. Is there sound in the outer Space? We made some experiments and then we tried to change the sound (timbre) of our own voices and of some musical instruments. Check this out.

 

 

 

10th October 2016 - Matilde and Carolina made this fine movie showing where we are! ;)

 

3rd October 2016 - Because we are a music class, our teacher gave us a challenge: read the score and guess what's the song in it. Then we had to play it and record it... in just TWO lessons! Do you know what song is it? Listen to it HERE. ;)

 

 

24th September 2016 - We started by brainstorming for ideas when thinking about SPACE (in Portuguese). We used QR codes and AnswerGarden.
