March 10th, 2022. MES kicks off work on the new Erasmus+ and eTwinning project by constructing a first model of the domes to be built at our 2 new partner schools in Vigo/Spain.

The construction drew the attention of the complete school community. In the light of the terrible outbreak of war in Ukraine, the students spontaneously decided to dedicate the dome to peace and invited their fellow students to decorate it with messages for peace.

Credits for the math go out to www.domerama.com 's  3V 5/9 Flat Base Kruschke Calculator. This dome is 4.35 meters wide and 2.58 meters high.

The idea of using plywood, nuts and bolts was inspired by www.midomo.es. 

OBI Hardware Dreieich supported us with the exact cuts of plywood.

MES Principal Köster did not hesitate to congratulate the students on their project and show the management's commitment to the Erasmus+ project and the initiative for peace.
