PRECISAZIONE: PERCHE' IN INGLESE?

Il progetto è stato fondato da due etwinner italiane e a loro si sono unite molte altre colleghe che condividevano pienamente l'idea di progetto. Lungo il cammino si sono unite al gruppo due colleghe straniere una spagnola e una greca quindi è sembrato giusto, pur essendo un progetto nazionale, metterle in condzioni di seguire tutto il percorso attraverso una lingua veicolare.

 

The idea of the project

The basic idea of this project is to use the elementary geometry , through games, discoveries, discussions, reflections and drawings : with reference to the work of M.C. Escher 1898-1972 creator of geometric patterns , which , intersecting and forming fascinating images , endlessly repeatable , encourage pupils to acquire the ability to orientation, recognition of objects and shapes in space localization.
The project was born from the idea of combining Mathematics and Art between pupils of the three types of schools : childhood, primary and secondary level , without neglecting the students with difficulties in learning geometry . In June , through the platform of events , they were taken of the contacts between Italian teachers, Rosalba and Irene Confalone, we presented them the basic ideas of the project to be developed.
 

Aims
Learning objectives :
-Observe the figures to grasp similarities and differences .
-Draw  open and closed  lines.
-Understand the concepts of the region and its border .
-Paint the inside of a region .
-Build sequences following some regularity .
-Include, in the game situation , the concept of surface .
-Acquiring the concept of symmetry .
-Classify the triangles and the quadrangles with the same symmetries .
-Accomplish with the corresponding drawings of a flat geometrical figure , subjected to a translation, to an axial symmetry and a rotation .
-Besides the promotion of good practices, which , as suggested by the key skills , will be launched in full ; Learning to learn . Respect the ' internal and external environment . Collaborate with pupils from different schools . To acquire the ability to understand texts in foreign language .

Working procedure
The primary idea  is to start the project between two  italian schools  of two different towns . Secondly we  will invite other schools from the national and international landscape that are interested in our project.
Other teachers have provided during the previous events , a number of  new and innovative ideas . We have set up a blog to write about the ideas of each , with particular attention to the involvement of support teachers . The project will have annual duration , with virtual meetings through TwinSpace , Facebook , e-mail , Google Doc etc ... with monthly deadlines for the verification of the targets . Another important aim of the project  is  to create a  group of school  that share the same goals.
Italian teachers ,Rosalba and myself. We presented them the basic ideas of the project to be developed.

Expected results
The work produced by each school will be uploaded to the public TwinSpace and on each school's website , in order to create resource material useful for all pupils .
All teachers involved will organize a final exhibition  at their school institute , they are asked  to publicize and disseminate good practices undertaken with acquisite International eTwinning ambassadors and  european professors are asked to help the success of the  project on the platform ,  they are asked to collaborate and provide their enthusiasm . Great desire to grow with Escher and through  his masterpieces . Common goal results also indicate the involvement of interdisciplinary teachers , intercultural to promote internationalization .
The headmasters of the schools surveyed are enthusiastic and cooperative.

A proposito del progetto

L'idea base di questo progetto è utilizzare la geometria elementare, attraverso giochi, scoperte, discussioni, approfondimenti, riflessioni e disegni: in riferimento al lavoro di M.C. Escher 1898-1972 ideatore dei motivi geometrici ,che, intersecandosi e formando immagini affascinanti, ripetibili all'infinito, stimolino gli alunni ad acquisire la capacità di orientamento, di riconoscimento, di localizzazione di oggetti e forme nello spazio. 
Il Progetto nasce dall'idea di coniugare Matematica ed Arte tra alunni dei tre ordini di scuola: infanzia, primaria e secondaria di I grado, senza tralasciare gli alunni con difficoltà nell'apprendimento della geometria. Nel mese di Giugno, attraverso degli Eventi in piattaforma, sono stati presi dei contatti tra docenti italiani e la sottoscritta, ha illustrato loro le idee basilari del Progetto da sviluppare.
