Students draw their hands with their feelings

  • When we work within the bullying issue, we need to go deeper and try to understand the complexity of the problem. Most of the time, the victims of bullying are considered to have low self-esteem. The fact they feel fragile, make them a target to the bullies. In our project, we wanted our students to look inside themselves and to try to find what is more positive inside them. Then, it would be important to share those feelings with other students.

In each partner school, we have worked in two different aspects: each student should design his own hand. In that hand, the student should write the feeling that could better describe himself, his name and make some drawings to decorate it. Those hands were sent to other partners to create an Emotions Tree in each school. That tree was made of recycled or Natural materials.

We believe that the students, seing their hands in the tree in another country, should feel proud and should feel like taking part of something bigger than them. We think that this can be an important activty to improve the self-esteem.

In the following subpages you can see the task "Making the feelings hands" in the different countries involved in the project!
