    We wrote our wishes for the new year on new year themed postcards.

    Our students prepared a traditional wish: it is a series of "strigaturi" ("shouts"- in a rough translation). The meaning of the verses is that of carollers asking to be received in people's homes, however the bells and the shouting and the pleas to people's generosity and good heart are meant to drive away negative energies.
