COMMENTS ON THE PROJECT

  • Hereby you can find comments of our pupils on our 2 years´work on Nature Detective project:

    Nori, 16

Before this project I've barely heard about the invasive species or the issues around them. During the two years I've learned so much. I became more aware of the environment we live in as I started to realise how many aliens have got to our country so far and how big problems they can cause now or in the future. I think it's very important for the young generations to gain knowledge about this kind of topics, because the problems are unexpectedly real and someday we'll have to deal with them.
Because of the project's influence I pay attention to things I didn't use to. For example, I often notice plants in the future, that aren't native to Slovakia, and if it's possible, I get rid of them. Now I wouldn't buy a pet or a plant from another part of the world. I also talk about these issues with other people, so we can spread the information.

My hoster was Denica. At first I was a little shy but she was so kind with me. Denica has an elder sister, she told me a lot about bulgarian habits and traditions. This project was so interesting because I met people from other countries. It was my first time in Bulgaria and I enjoyed it. We visited many beautiful places. I finally tried incest so this trip was a wincest. I think Plovdiv was the most wonderful town. It was a good experience that we could try rock climbing. when we had some free time we met at a café bar. This trip gave me so many memories and I hope to meet my new friends again.

I think that Erasmus+ was quite interesting and enjoyable. We have let to know a lot about invasive plants and other species. Cinematic presentations were also really good, beacuse we got to know about how is chocolate made in Afrika and how are the workers expoited in some fashion fabricks. I am really happy to participate in this kind of projeckt, and I am looking forward to it in the future too.  I finally tried incest so this trip was a wincest.

This project was interesting because I met people from another countries. We visited many beautiful places/towns. I liked programes what we had in the nature. It was a good experience that we could try rock climbing. It was also good that we had free time. I had a little problem in the family where I lived, because my host was too young and he didn´t speak English so well.

    Bianka (16)

I liked Erasmus+. I think it was good to recognize and observe invasive species because now I know more about them, I know the way how to prevent their spreading, so in the future I can use my new knowledge. It was also good, that we had a chance to travel abroad and recognize new places. I have got just positive experiences with this project.

    Timea (18)

I have never thought a project can give me such a lot as it gave! It was a wonderful week, during we met not only amazing people, but we also could learn a lot about invasive species of animals and plants. I didn´t find any negatives, as I said it was a week full of experiences and I say thanks only for Erasmus+ for it!

    Rita (16)

For me personally Erasmus+ is instructive. I learn many new things, that is adventageous becasue I will use it in the future. Sometimes I don´t understand everything, then it is a bit boring.

    Tamara (16)

I really like this program. Especially, when we examine the plants alone. We had some presentations about the invasive plants. I like that we work with other countries and there is the chance to travel to another countries, too. I hope next year I can visit new places and observe these species there.

    Timea (17)

I get to know the culture of the country which I was visiting so much better. I met new people and made friendships. I really liked trips to several cities and I also enjoyed the local food. I can´t even tell a bad thing about Erasmus+ project because I came home with new experiences.
