Addressing the Global Climate Crisis in Your Classroom – 2021 Edition

The course targets any classroom practitioner who wants to address the climate crisis and environmental sustainability in their classroom. The course provides an introduction to the topic, so that practitioners can further develop their practice in subsequent activities.

It started on 8 November 2021 and finished on 15 December 2021.

In this course we;

• Explored the basic science behind climate change
• Learnt about the main consequences of the climate crisis
• Discovered ideas, pedagogical practices and tools that can help you to address the climate crisis and environmental sustainability in your classroom
• Understood how to utilise and integrate student thinking about the climate crisis into classroom activities
• Investigated approaches to organise constructive debates on the topic of climate change
