IMPACT: Teacher Training Week Program
The third teacher training week (TTW) is in Enschede (The Netherlands) from 19 to 23 March 2018.
The main theme of this third week: Diversity and Multilinguism.

Monday March 19th (Saxion University, Enschede)

Getting to know eachother
Presentation of the goals of the IMPACT project
Split into 2 groups, presentations about:
New schools in the project, introduction movie about strengths, weaknesses.
Schools already in the project, presentation about improving education, developing internationalisation policy and mini-projects.
20.00Welcoming dinner at Rhodos restaurant, Korte Haaksbergerstraat 13, City centre.

Tuesday March 20th (Diepenheim, Obs Stedeke)
8.15 Travel by cars to Obs Stedeke, Diepenheim from Rodenbach hotel
8.45 Introduction and welcome at the school, coffee/tea (Jasper)
9.30 Guided tour in the school in groups

10.30 Lesson visits, round 1
In each classroom the emphasis will lie on a different matter or subject. Teachers will tell about what they are doing in English, while teaching.

12.00 Summary of the morning
12.15 Catered lunch in the hall, with the teachers of Obs Stedeke
13.15 Literature session (Savas) in group 7 and 8
14.30 Start cultural getaway in Diepenheim by bike
Visit some historic sights
Stop at Mölnhofte, for krentewegge with coffee to go klootschieten
17.30 Ride back to cultural centre “de Pol”
18.00 Enjoy a four course meal cooked and served by group 7 (5th grade)
It is the final activity of the project “Stedeke kookt” where every class receives cooking classes from chefs from restaurants in the area. The aim of the project is to learn that it is not difficult to cook a tasty meal from fresh ingredients.
