L’ultima Cena, one of Leonardo’s most celebrated painting,
hides from most people's eyes a musical staff, some notes and a sentence in Hebrew.
If we consider the folds of the tablecloth as lines, the buns and
the fingertips of the apostles as music notes and start to read
from right to left, in Leonardo’s typical manner, a small piece of
music will appear. Furthermore, if we connect the fingertips of
the apostles and the buns, a Hebrew inscription celebrating the
Glory of the Lord appears.
