10) Activity 6: PEACE DAY

  • On the 30th January in all schools in Spain we celebrate the "school peace day". We would like to "spread" all over Europe some nice words related to this topic in different languages:

    The words are: Peace, friendship and love. The idea is to compile the words,  create nice wordclouds  with these words, maybe record students saying that words... Any idea is welcome!

    Students searched for proverbs about peace, and each of them wrote them on colourful cardboards. The proverbs were said by important figures such as Mahatma Ghandi, Joan Baez, Theodore Roszak, Steve Biko, Oscar Wilde, Jeanette Rankin, Malcolm X, ahr John Lennon. This way, they wondered who they are and this way they have general knowledge about them.
