1) PROJECT PLANNING

  • Welcome to the project "In Love With My Region". This planning will help us follow the same direction!

    (It´s likely that we´ll have to adjust it and make some necessary or interesting changes once we start working on it.)

    1. OCTOBER: determination of partners and students. “This is where I live!”: showing partners where our school is. Use of Google Earth or any other tool to place our region. Teachers´ introductions (bitmoji).
    2. NOVEMBER: initial evaluation of the project for teachers and students (google forms). Introduction and promotion at school. Creation of a common logo for the project. Introductions of pupils in Twinspace: "This is me!".
    3. DECEMBER: "Xmas around Europe": exchange of digital and paper cards, carols and Xmas recipes. Xmas videocalls.
    4. JANUARY: New year´s Resolutions. Peace Day.
    5. FEBRUARY: teachers´ and students´ selection of fields to be investigated, gathering of information and elaboration of materials dealing with special traditions, main monuments, famous people, etc. Creation of interactive games about our region for students to play and rate. Elaboration of a collaborative book to be shared on the project page using Story Jumper Book. Carnival time. Online safety.
    6. MARCH: collaborative book presentation and elaboration of questionnaires about other regions´ wonders. Promoting materials at school. "The challenge": activity to show our regional dance and traditional games.
    7. APRIL: "What a nice region!: videocalls with partner schools to talk about what we liked the most. Use of the forum, too.
    8. MAY: surveys and analysis of data. Farewell padlet. Final evaluation forms for teachers and students.
