  • June 2022 - TNM2 in Germany

    - participants - 3 teachers and 3 employees of the training institutes from each partner country

    - length of the meeting - 3 working days + 2 days for travel

    - 1 day job shadowing - teachers will observe classes at BBS Idar-Oberstein, employees of the training institutes will conduct job shadowing at Pädagogisches Landesinstitut Rheinland-Pfalz

    - common discussion about the growing role of technology in solving some of the issues raised, with a brief look at key concepts of both blended and hybrid learning, the utilisation of technology as a classroom monitoring tool, as well as using this new context to promote learner independence

    - another goal of this meeting is monitoring and evaluation of executed project activities, budget check and preparation of mid-term report

    - common discussion with an expert from the Department of Didactics in Technology at the Technical University of Kaiserslautern - Cognitive apprenticeship on digital systems

    - during tthe debate, the teaching concept for troubleshooting digital technical systems is presentedand practiced. We will discuss a strategy for systematic fault diagnosis. This is carried out on a digital simulation of an industrial technical system. First of all, the mode of operation of the plant is presented, so that basic system knowledgeis available. Afterwards the troubleshooting is discussed. During the troubleshooting it is shown how the cognitive apprenticeship approach can be used to give feedback and support to the learners.
