Principles for Respectful Online Conversation

• Respect our space and colleagues – do not record or take screenshots/photos without permission. Please do not post pictures or quotes from the session on social media or elsewhere without express permission of those involved.
• Pay attention to each other as if we were together in person – it is easy to get distracted when we are working like this, to answer e-mails or read a document out of camera shot. Use this space to share and learn from others by listening to each other with as much attention and respect as if we were in the same room.
• Be mindful of the impact of what we say (or type!) – think about the language we use, be mindful that we are communicating to some extent without the body language that many find useful.
