    The most successful result of our project is that students and teachers from all around Europe contributed to MusicLexis, the world's first online dictionary which offers examples from popular songs♫to help the acquisition of new vocabulary. Students, with the help of their teachers, edited the wikis and created new entries in English and in other languages and added translations of the English examples into their native language. Everyone's contribution is public and available to all language learners in the world who are likely to use the website. In this way the students helped create new knowledge in the field of foreign language learning: They helped make musical examples for vocabulary items available in various European languages, examples which are likely to help language learners all around the world memorise and acquire new vocabulary.
