EUROPEAN DAY OF LANGUAGES ACTIVITIES:
- we will exchange the titles of our stories (at this point you don't have to provide the whole story just the title). Each of us will decide how to present them for EDL at our school.
- we will also write some key words from the stories e.g. love, hate, tragedy, happiness, parents, princess, war etc.
- names of places where the stories take place (I suggest that we create a padlet with a map where we can place our stories)
It's up to you how you will present the information (wordclouds, pictures, posters, digital posters, drawings...)
The idea is to celebrate the EDL and to inform our community about the project (dissemination).
Please add your additional ideas. We will share coordination of these activities.
It would be good to create a map for editing, e.g. on Google Maps, and put the places of our stories' events there.
EUROPEAN DAY OF LANGUAGES
Dear all, here is the list of schools that added the titles of the stories. We are going to edit the padlet map in this way: number one will add the school in number two. Number two will add the school in number three etc. and in the end number 16 will add number 1.
In this way our students will become familiar with their project partners and find out where they come from:
1. Benkovac, Croatia
2. Vallet, France
3. Bračević, Croatia
4. Ioannina, Greece
5. Brela, Croatia
6. Čepin, Croatia
7. Izmir, Turkey
8. Dubrovnik, Croatia
9. Jesenice na Doljenskem, Slovenia
10. Osijek, Croatia
11. Prelog, Croatia
12. Savigliano, Italy
13. Salinovec, Croatia
14. Zadar, Croatia
15. Stobierna, Poland
16. Zmijavci, Croatia

Musical school Franjo Kuhač Osijek
Students of the High School String Orchestra and flute students, together with their mentors Tomislava Karačić Šoljić and Josipa Erhardt, marked the European Day of Languages, throughout the week they collaborated and talked about the importance of language and the language we communicate. They included music in their reflections, concluded that music is a universal language with which people communicate, translated their ideas and thoughts into a presentation and recorded background music for it. They presented all of this online on the school’s website and Facebook page.
