  • NETIQUETTE

Expression and communication are basic components in all TwinSpaces.

Mails, chats, padlets, forum and blogs will be some communication ways to get to know each other and work collaboratively.

Internet has its own code of good manners to express wishes, emotions and sorrow. Think that visual elements are not present all the times, and the social and cultural aspects of the participants may be different. For these reasons, we should take into account some important considerations:

Take part in the warm up activities, and tell something about you to the other participants, your interests in the group, hobbies, etc.  A good sense of humour, contribute to create a pleasant atmosphere and a good participation amongst the teachers.
Express your ideas in a polite and standard English. It is appropriate to use emoticons to help the expression.
All ideas are welcome, this project tries to represent all teachers’ interests about Sustainability Education, so don’t be shy. It is not essential to speak English very well, or to have advance knowledge in SE. The important thing is to collaborate in order to build our small “society”.
It is important to read and understand the advice coordinators will usually add at the beginning of every section. Please, follow the keys for participating in every section. Try to be regular and think the project depends on your contributions.
    Netiquette in the project.

It is important to follow some easy rules to get the most of every activity, but it is important to:

    Share your knowledge and experience.

It is important your collaboration. Be an active member in forums and sections.

Related to the materials. It is possible to share own materials or author’s, but be aware of the copyrights and the image rights of the people. Try to use visual material, avoiding the children can be recognised, and use the Creative Commons data.

    The Licenses

    Attribution
    CC BY

This license lets others distribute, remix, adapt, and build upon your work, even commercially, as long as they credit you for the original creation. This is the most accommodating of licenses offered. Recommended for maximum dissemination and use of licensed materials.

    Attribution-ShareAlike
    CC BY-SA

This license lets others remix, adapt, and build upon your work even for commercial purposes, as long as they credit you and license their new creations under the identical terms. This license is often compared to “copyleft” free and open source software licenses. All new works based on yours will carry the same license, so any derivatives will also allow commercial use. This is the license used by Wikipedia, and is recommended for materials that would benefit from incorporating content from Wikipedia and similarly licensed projects.

We also provide tools that work in the “all rights granted” space of the public domain. Our CC0 tool allows licensors to waive all rights and place a work in the public domain, and our Public Domain Mark allows any web user to “mark” a work as being in the public domain.
