Pedagogic Basis

It is quite clear that practices that will support children's development and learning in a good language education are directly related to a qualified language education. In general quality is mentioned in two categories: The "structural quality" and the “process quality”. The structural quality consists of dimensions such as existing physical conditions, financial resources and human resources, and the process quality includes children's interactions with teachers and peers. With this project, away from traditional foreign language teaching approaches, it is completely based on having fun and having a pleasant time. Also, it is aimed to create and develop an interdisciplinary teaching method focused on student-based learning.

Project Plan

In our project, while the activities are carried out by the students, the teachers will provide the necessary support and take part as guides. Students from different schools will communicate online or offline, depending on the type of activity. There will be at least two activities for each month. At the beginning of each month all partners will discuss and decide the activities for that month.

Expected Results

In general, we aim to change the perspective of students and parents to English and make them realize that English is more than just a lesson. With this project, away from traditional foreign language teaching approaches, it is completely based on having fun and having a pleasant time. Also, it is aimed to create and develop an interdisciplinary teaching method focused on student-based learning. As for final product, we are thinking on a report on the effects of the project and an e-book or a website or a public twinspace to showcase what has been done.  After discussing with the new partners if there is better idea the last product can change.
