THINK BEFORE YOU WRITE!
"Netiquette" refers to Internet etiquette. This simply means the use of good manners in online communication such as e-m ail, forums,
blogs, and social networking sites to name a few.
It is important to use netiquette because communication online is non-verbal. Most often online communication consists of reading something someone else has typed.
Please, follow these simple rules when you communicate with the other members of the Twinspace
- ONLINE LIFE = REAL LIFE
It is important to respect different feelings and opinions in online communication. Behind every account there is a real person.
- REMEMBER THE HUMAN - CHECK YOUR OPINIONS AND FEELINGS
Before you post a comment or ask a question– think: how would you feel if you were the one to receive this comment? Be aware of how your comments might be read.
BE POLITE AND KIND
Make yourself good online. Check links and facts before posting or sharing.
- BE CAREFUL WITH HUMOR AND SARCASM
Think when you write a joke on net - will everyone understand it?
- RESPECT YOUR AND OTHER'S PRIVACY
Who can see what you have shared is very important. Never share anything inappropriate or something that can get you into trouble.
- BE FORGIVING
The online world can be very different from the offline world so try to be understanding of others when they make mistakes
