Dear penfriend ,

It’s great to be able to write to a penfriend, I have hoped for this opportunity for a long time. So, I’m 13 years old and I live in Sainte-Savine, next to Troyes.

I live with my parents: my father who is an English teacher and my mother who is a schoolteacher, and with my elder sister, who is 17. I love her, even if she often makes me angry… What about you? Do you have any brothers and sisters?

And have you got a pet? I would like to have one, but my parents don’t want me to.

I like to go to middle school… on the overall! My favourite subjects are French, English and history. I am not keen on maths, physics and biology, so I don’t think I am a scientist. Is it the same for you? I also take drama lessons. In my free time, I like hanging out with my best friends, we laugh a lot together.

Apart from that, I like playing on my computer (my favourite game is The Sims), reading (I read a lot, especially fantasy novels like the Percy Jackson series or detective or spy novels like the Cherub series) and listening to pop-rock music. I like Imagine Dragons, Mika, and Maroon 5, for example. And you, what do you like doing when you’re not at school?
