Before the reforms of Ataturk in our country, the men’s hat was called of "fes" . It would be made of several red-colored, thick and  broad cloth. In general, which is cylindrical of this hat, had a “peck”, in the middle of the top. And, on the end of the “peck” there was a “tassel” which is made by black or blue silk.

“Fez” was not only for the men. Muslim and Christian women in old Istanbul and burgher and peasant women of Anatolia wore a fez as an ornament, too.

For about 100 years it was used in our country. Due to widespread use in the Ottoman Empire, it has become synonymous with the Turks and  Ottoman.

Today, in some Muslim countries, The French and the Spaniards a portion of the native troops in Africa, the soldiers of efzon In Greece, still wear the FEZ. But, now it's just used for ornamental purposes in Turkey

Now, you will have to make a fez of 15 cm height, for this task. You can use all kinds of materials (carton, pasteboard, felt...) But it will be fitting your own head completely. When you wear your Fes, you should be able to walk fast and be able to twist and hang your head comfortably. 

You need to make movie or pictures with voice or accompanying text, to show us how you did it. You can make movie or presentation or cartoon, any chosen way to show us your results.
