C2 Chojnice - Poland

  • The first teaching and learning activity took place in March. From March 28 to April 1, 2022, the Catholic High School for them. Romuald Traugutt in Chojnice hosted teachers and students from Portugal, Norway and Reunion.

The aim of the meeting was to gain the first theater experience under the watchful eye of experienced instructors. The classes were held at the Cultural Center in Chojnice and were led by Mr. Grzegorz Szlanga and Mr. Piotr Rutkowski, actors of the Rapsodyczny Theater. Students from 4 countries took part in workshops where they got acquainted with theater techniques based on Stanisławski's method, learned to express emotions, learned drama techniques, participated in emission and breathing exercises. One of the important elements of the theater workshops was learning the rules of creating scenarios and the functions of stage directions. The final effect of the mobility was the creation of short original scripts and the performance of a performance in accordance with the assumptions of the Shakespearean theater (role conflict). In short drama scenes, the students included everything they learned - the art of make-up, the art of creating costumes, the use of a prop.

Workshops began with the international Kahoot quiz "Kaleidoscope of national theaters", which was a summary of knowledge about national theaters of the partner countries.

The partner visit was accompanied by a number of historical and cultural activities:
    a) Concert "In tribute to Ukraine" performed by Hanna Tiekuczevna
    b) Old Polish culture workshops conducted by the Dworek Polski association
    c) Kashubian workshops conducted by the folklore group "Krebane"
    d) Integration fire at Lake Charzykowskie
    e) A visit to the Solidarity Center in Gdańsk
