TEACHERS TRAINING

The first meeting of teachers involved in the project took place in October. On October 13-15, 2021, the "Feeling Europe" training took place in Brussels as part of the "Short term joint Staff training events" activity.
The meeting of teachers in Brussels is necessary and very important due to the subject of the entire project. An important element influencing the quality of the project is getting to know the history of European institutions as well as culture and democracy that determine the value of Europe. Thanks to this, teachers will be the transfer of knowledge in this field to their distant school, local and family environments.
 

Main goals of mobility:
1. Getting to know the meaning of European culture and its values ​​for everyone living in Europe
2. Discussion of assumptions and specific project activities.
3. Participation in the workshop "The role of European culture".
4. Promotion and protection of democracy
5. Understanding the history and culture of Europe in the context of the future of Europe in the field of culture.
 

Teachers took part in a number of activities, the most important of which were workshops conducted by a Polish team on culture in Europe. The following workshop blocks were held: "Europe and European Culture (Roots of European Culture - Greece, Rome)", "The Importance of Democracy" and "The Birth of Mass Culture". An important element of the training was a discussion panel: "Europe at the beginning of the 20h century - Europe at a crossroads - what is the future of Europe in the field of culture?"
The teachers had the opportunity to see work in the European Parliament and met with the Polish MEP Anna Fotyga.
An important element of the meeting was visiting places important from the point of view of the history of democracy, culture and development of European parliamentarism: the Parlamentarium (discovering democracy and observing the members of the European Parliament), the European Parliament, the House of European History

During the coordinators 'meeting, the next stages of the project activities were discussed - the date of the meeting in Poland was set and tasks for the youth participating in the project were set - preparation of a presentation on the National Theater in partner countries, on the basis of which a Kahoot quizz summarizing the students' knowledge about the theater will be prepared.
