There is in the south of Poland (Śląsk, Sudety ect.)
in Portugal, the islands esiste in large amounts because they are of volcanic origin.

Basalt - rock formed from the rapid cooling of basaltic lava exposed at or very near the surface.

Examples:
Basalt columns can be found in Poland (Pogórze Kaczawskie) and in Portugal (Porto Santo).
Curiosities:
1. Basalt has only 3 colours- black, grey and green.
2. Sea moon is made of basalts. Whole Venus is made of basalts too.
