Final Product

  • At the begining of the project we diagnosed the level of students’ social, economic and communication skills. Based on the results of a diagnosis, a schedule of activities containing elements of training sessions were adapted to the individual students’ needs and abilities. Each activity was carried out for a period of three months. Different teaching methods were used during the implementation of the project: signalong, class project, the students’ practical action, demonstration, description. The priority of the project was to work on using mathematical knowledge in everyday life, as well as acquire the skills important to continue the professional development. The most important objectives were: independent problem solving skills, cooperating in a group, using different sources of knowledge. The most important part of our publication is a collection of lesson plans for students with multiple disabilities used during four training sessions.
