    The seedlings

    We prepare seedlings to fill our gardens.

    Watering

    The garden squares had to be watered because it was very sunny.

    When seedlings are ready, we put them on the garden square.

    Build the gardens

    We use recycled wood to build these squares. The pupils do it themselves. First they try to draw the plan and then they list all the things they need to build them properly.

    Maintenance and planting

    A beautiful harvest in perspective. Students grew vegetables or seasonal flowers to make them aware of the natural cycle.

    Among the plants selected, some aromatics appreciated by foragers such as lavender, nepetas or even thyme. But also flowering plants like Centaurea or Salvia microphylla, always trying to alternate blooms to cover as many months of the year as possible.
