May-June: final production

  • Now it's time to start our herbarium.

     

    I propose to make a first activity of observation of the flora in our school garden.

     

    Students can then pick up flowers and leaves, identify their names with Plant net  and fill in the label:

    Finally you can scan this work (don't forget to use a rule to have the scale) and keep the images in order to make our digital book of the herbarium.

     

    Then for those who have grown the seeds received you can do the same work.

     

    Thus we will have a digital herbarium with species from our different countries following the first observation activity but also common species with seeds sent and received.

    In our french classroom we made the herbarium with all our pages:
