This is a practical science activity to design an energy efficient toy car. All the energy to make the car move, comes from an elastic band. The car should be made from recycled materials. The children attending the meeting can bring 2 or 3 of their models to the meeting. The cars will take part in two competitions:
- which car is the fastest over 5 metres?
- which car can go the furthest?
