ABOUT OUR PROJECT AND OUR PROJECT PLAN

  • The main aim of this project is to show our students that they can use the English language outside the classroom.

    AIMS

    -To encourage students to be motivated in the learning process
    -To feel relaxed in pandemi days
    -To improve communication skills along with the reading ,speaking and the writing ones
    -To learn how to use internet
    -To learn how to send e-mail
    -To improve speaking skills via video conferences
    - To aware of other cultures/traditions

    PROJECT PLAN

    NOVEMBER
    *Teachers will create a page on the Twinspace about project and they will organize the partners

    DECEMBER
    * Students will write e-mails about themselves (self-presentation).
    E-mails will include: name, age, school, country, birthday, favourite things.

    *Students will make/write post cards for New Year 2021 and they will send their New Year greetings postcards

    JANUARY

    * Students will send e-mail about their traditional foods and folk dances.

    FEBRUARY
    *Students will make a video to present their family members and the place they live in.
    * Students will write a e-mail about daily life.

    MARCH
    *Students will prepare a poster or drawing about their towns and countries *Students will take the group photo for pen-pal friends.

    APRIL
    *Students will make video conference and they talk about what they write on their e-mails. They will  prepare a travel brochures about the place that they want to travel ( activities, food and drinks etc)

    MAY
    *Students will communicate about every event that will happen during the year.We will ask them some questions about their penpal and project.They will answer them.

    JUNE
    *Students will prepare a magazine about friendship. It will common work of the project.

     

    EXPECTED RESULTS

    -Students will be able to gain self confidence through introduction with their peers.
    -Students have information about different cultures and they will have opportunıty to introduce places where they live.
    -Students learn how to use Internet (modern technologies) as a tool to exchange information and ideas
    -Students use English language to meet new people, new cultures.
    -Students will develop their social skills like empathy, friendship and etc.
