Stories of unaccompanied refugee children

  • Activity: “Stories of unaccompanied refugee children”.  "It could be me, it could be you"

Each group listened to a story narrated by an unaccompanied refugee child and did the following activities:

    • Took down notes while listening

    • Created a stanza with the refugee's name by writing the letters of the name vertically on the smallest of the cardboards you have on your desk.

    • Started with each letter of the name, and formed short sentences in which pupils expressed their thoughts and feelings about the refugee story.

•On the largest piece of carton, drew part of the story or pupils' thoughts about the refugee’s future.

    • At the end, each group will present their creations to the other groups.
