My opinion on biography of Martin Luther King

I am very thankful that I have access to the internet at such a young age. I can educate myself on topics like this- racism. I knew that racim was bad, but I didn't think the situation has been this horrible back in the day. In my opinion, it is very childish and stupid of white people to judge black people based on their skin tone. These kind of news make me want to cry, because it makes me realize how much negativity exists in this world. It's not okay to pay black people less salary than the white people from the same amount of work. I'm getting emotional very easy when it comes to racism. I support black people and I think they're very cool. - Kennert

My opinion on Martin Luther King

In my opinion, the whole racism topic is sad and most definitely so stupid. I just can't imagine how some people can behave like that. I have always known that racism is a daily topic but I have never thought that this situation has been this horrible. It is unexceptional to behave and treat black people like that. It's sickening how we disrespect human rights. Martin Luther King was a person with a very good heart. If we want to lose the racism we need more people like him.-Karmel

My opinion on the biography of Martin Luther King

I think it really shows how privileged we are to be living in such an accepting time. The world might still not be perfect today, but we have come a long way, and a lot of that can be credited to him. He was the leader of a very noble movement that wanted equal rights for every human, no matter their skin colour. While just that would already be amazing, he also wanted to do it peacefully. The fact that he stayed a pacifist throughout his life, no matter how hard he was pushed or punished is extremely admirable in my opinion. Although his story is extremely dark, it also invokes hope in me. That if we just want to, we can bring change too, and without making our hands bloody.

My opinion on biography of Martin Luther King.

Martin Luther King is a Baltic preacher, public figure and activist.
I was deeply moved by one of his most famous speeches, "I Have a Dream," in which he proclaimed his vision for a future where whites and blacks would have equal civil rights. In fact, it is really sad that in our time the topic of racism is still relevant. I think it is very foolish to judge a person by his origin. I sincerely do not understand why people do not respect each other, because we were created in the same image and likeness. I hope that people will come to their senses and begin to show at least a little respect towards ALL people. And I hope that Luther King's "dream" about equal rights will come true.

My feelings after watching the film Selma

I have felt anger and helplessness because people were mistreated for the simple fact of being of another skin color, because they were killed, beaten, threatened, insulted and the white people who helped them were also killed for no reasonable reason, the people look like animals. Unfortunately in actually a lot people think similar about the rights of black people. Marta-Spain

My feelings after watching the film Selma...

After watching this incredible film, i feel a lot of things. I realise how much racism there is in USA and I feel really shocked.
I find amazing how black people have fought and are fighting to be as human as white people.
    Blanca Kemper.

    My feelings

I think that the movie Selma is very good for me , because it is shocking how the black people fight for their rights and they make pacific marches and the white people want to hit them. Other moment very shocking for me was when the black people were not allowed to enter some places only for being black , it's incredible how many people in the marches had banners saying"I am human". In my opinion the movie for me was very beautiful and shocking and it makes you aware.

My feelings after watching the film Selma

Well, after watching the film Selma I felt disappointed and shocked about the bad behavior, treat and bad methods of the white people to the black ones. I know that racism is a difficult topic to understand, not everyone think the same as others, but I had never thought that it could reach that extreme. Nowdays, the right of voting for black people is a reality thanks to Martin, but the topic of racism isn’t resolved yet. In this world we need people like Martin. Nacho Sánchez, Spain

My opinion on Martin Luther King

I think this film is very useful for people to realize the inequality that existed between the two genders. I feel pity and anger at the violence of whites against blacks. And I am surprised that there is so much racism that they did not let black people vote even though there was a law that if they let them. -España,Javier H.

My feelings after watching the film Selma

My feelings after watching this film are so sad to see how they were treated and what they had to undergo. Now luckily they have the same rights as the rest people, however in others countries there is still racism.

How did I feel after watching SELMA

My feelings after watching the film Selma are confusing and I am surprised becuase the black people had a very big disadvantege because of their skin colour, they couldn't vote, go to school, or go to some restaurants. They were segregated only becuase they had got a diferent skin colour.
In this film, Marting Luther King starts to make some pacifics marches, we can see how the police starts to hit the black peolple and some white people that is in favor of them.
In my opinion the film was touching and inspiring, its make you aware that you can make your dream come true

Selma movie from 2014 historical and dramatic directed by Ava DuVernay which from the first minutes captures your attention and makes you think ... My opinion after watching this movie has different main problem is rascim. The film shows us that African-American people are also people who have the right to vote, freedom and life. Rascim is bad!
Thanks to Martin Luther King, who is told in the movie "Selma", who was: an american minister and activist who became the most visible spokesman and leader of African-American nationality who fought for the rights of his people! On October 14, 1964, he won the Nobel Peace Prize for combating racial inequality through nonviolent resistance.

My feelings after watching the film Selma

After waching film Selma, I felt a sad state. The film's plot dates back to 1963. In the U.S.A. racism, and discrimination against the dark-skinned population. One of those who tries to convey to the government the importance of the voices of the dark population, becomes Martin Luther King. Organized protests throughout the country say that it is enough racial hatred, and it's time to give the black right to vote. I am shocked that it does not matter what color we are, we are all people and we must not be so bad and negligent . MD-Sabina

After watching the movie "Selma" I was amazed by the behavior of white people towards black people.
When I watched the movie, I had a feeling of sadness because white people were beating and discriminating against him.
I was shocked that blacks were not allowed to enter some places and that a lot of blacks had banners saying he was human, at which point I started to cry.
From this movie I would find out that no matter what color you have or your appearance, it matters to be friendly

My feelings after watching the film Selma

The film is based on the events of the 1965 march in Selma and Montgomery in the framework of the movement for the civil rights of blacks in the United States, in particular the right to vote in elections.
The film made me quite sad. It hurt me to see how the dark-skinned looked defenseless, how the military (or the police) beat them without regret, what unjustified cruelty was towards dark-skinned people. There were also moments of hope in the film. The last shot is such a moment when everyone gathered, the whites merged with the blacks and nevertheless passed through this bridge. This film cannot leave me indifferent.

My feelings after watching the film Selma

Throughout the film, I was in shock. Why were innocent people threatened, beaten, and even killed for no reason at all? This film made me angry and sad at the same time. To be honest I would be so embarrassed if I had behaved that way. I mean we are all humans and we all have equal rights. It doesn't matter what color is your skin. In my point of view, people like King are heroes. Racism is still a major problem in our world and we have to act now as King said. We can't wait any longer.- Karmel

My Opinion on Martin Luther King

In my opinion , Dr King was a person with a higher knowledge base and determination of what this person valued, believed in, and created as the principles Dr King wanted to share with other minorities and people in society. Knowing the cause and journey to reduce or eliminate injustices and change civil rights, the action through demonstrations integrated with the speeches while never being silent while always moving in this walk created a legend of hope and potential solidarity for REAL equality among diversity.

Mi opinion about Martin Luter King's biography

I liked the book a lot and I think it is a very good way to visualize racism. It explains how a black man fights for his rights peacefully, but is hated anyways. Unfortunately, a white man that hated him shot him in the end.
About the film Selma, I knew about the gravity of the affair but now that I had watched it, it was so heavy. And we haven't to be proud about the racist trate that the black people recived.

My opinion on the biography of Martin Luther King

I think this story is very inspiring but at the same time sad. It shows the acts that Martin Luther King has done for Civil rights. He protested peacefully and without any violence, but still, they discriminated against him and kept on insulting him. His biography has also shown me how horrible racism was back in the day. I can't even imagine how people could treat other people so badly! I am glad that these days there aren't many people that act this way. Martin Luther King was a great person who just wanted civil rights and died unfairly. Alejandro Navarro, Spain.

I really liked the film Selma because it reflects the horror that the black population went through during this time. My opinion about the biography is that I also liked it, it reflects the suffering of these people as well as the film. Ariel Guijarro, Spain.

My opinion on Martin Luther king

A powerful speaker, a down to earth commoner, a visionary. He was a master at understanding when, and how to move people to action and to keep negative distractions away. On way, in contrast to what we see today was absolutely NON VIOLENT protesting. No fighting, no fighting back. There was nothing but injustice shown. There was no “but” to be found. He had common, nice, hard-working family men and women in his movement. His oratory skills, and humble demeanor, and presence amongst his followers, made him entirely believable and approachable. Compare his style to Black Panthers, rioters in Ferguson, black lives matter, and other hostile, angry, damaging, and separatists, entitlement, language, and actions of today. Very little support, because they aren't following his lead.-Zakaria Shahruri, Spain.

My opinion about the book and the film of Martin Luther King

The and the book about Martin Luther King were both very impactating. The scenes on the book that were more surprising for me where the ones were appeared violence in the manifests on the bridge, most of them were brutally killed. On the book talked about many things that didn't appeared in the movie, such us the famous case of Rose Parks and the movement that she created. Finally all their efforts was rewarded, for example, at the beginning of the film one black woman went to say that she wanted to vote but she couldn't. Now at the final she could vote, the same happened with everyone. The film was incredible but I preferred the book, it talked about many important thing. I hope this would never be repeated- Inés Pérez Luna, Spain

My opinion about martin luther king

I feel so sad because everyone has the same rights apart of your skin colour. Black people have been fighting to get the same rights as white people that means that a lot of black people have died by white people fighting for their rights. I think it is a good film because it teaches you to don't give up and that we can get what we fight for.

My opinion on the biography of Martin Luther King.

In my opinion, Martin Luther King was a very respected and honorable man. In a time where black people where inferior just because of their skin color, he stood up for himself and his race and tried in every possible way, for there to be equality in every aspect of life between black and white people. He put himself and his family in danger throughout most of his life just to make the world a better place for himself and everybody else. I already know that racism is something we see every day, and I already know that this happened, but it still saddens me to think about everything black people went through. - Sara

My opinion on biography of Martin Luther King

Martin Luther King he was a fighter and he was a master at understanding when, and how to move people to action, and to keep negative distractions away. This person made aware a lot of people with racism. We are all people, the appearance and everything does not matter, because I think that there is only one race that is the human race and you have to realize it and put yourself in the shoes of other people. Is stupid think contrary. this is something educational in which you learn a lot. And martin luther king has done is be a person who really cares. I have loved this biography because it is learned and contributes many values.
    Alejandro Fernández, Spain.

My opinion of Martin Luther King's biografy

After reading Martin Luther King's biography, I started thinking about, with what black people had to lived with and grow with, the comments, the discrimination, when white people trated them like trush. You start seeing that it still happening today and it's so hard to them to think that they still being discriminated just because of their skin color. Also, I found out that Martin Luther King was someone so important and someone who did everything to get black people's justice. He was so brave to do that speeches trying to motivate people to get their justice and to don't continue being discriminated, and al thesee, without using violence. I think that we have to read more books like this, because it teaches us a lot of things.
    María Domínguez Reyes-Spain.

My thoughts after watching the film "Selma"

The film made me sad and made me think about how it's unfair that black people are treated differently just because of their skin color. It shouldn't be like that because everyone should be treated equally, no matter what color their skin is. It's sad to see that racism wasn't only a thing all those years back but that black people are still treated badly just because of their skin color. I think everyone should watch the film because it can be really eye-opening.

My opinion on biography of Martin Luther King

I think this book is incredible but at the same time is sad. Is incredible the story of the black poeple and the laws of these persons. The book is about the racism of America to black people. I felt sad and angry after reading the book, because I don't think racism should exist. I recommend this book to all the persons but more at the white people to raise awareness at the story of the racism and to know about the life of Martin Luther King. Lucia Guerrero- Spain

Watching the movie Selma I was amazed at how much injustice can be in a society. Black people were very discriminated against, their rights were not respected and they were not considered people with the right to life. The fact that racism is a widespread problem is very intriguing. But the saddest thing is that only one person had the courage to risk the cost of his own life and put his family in danger to help a lot of people in great danger.

My opinion on biography of Martin Luther King

In my opinion, Martin Luther King was a very kind and respected person. While black people were inferior because of their skin color, he stood up for his race and tried his best to make the lives of black and white people equal. It's sad to think that black people were treated like that...

My feelings after watching the film Selma

After I watched this film, first of all, I felt sadness and anger, because the people with dark skin were considered nobody, they didn't had rights, they weren't allowed to travel in public. I felt happy when I have seen how Martin Luther King stood up for his race, how he protected the dark skin people, he was like a hope for them, that made me happy, the film is pretty interesting, I like it, but I still fell sad, because the black people didn't deserved that, they are people just like us and the color of our skin doesn't mean something.

My feelings after watching film Selma MD.Dan

I watch the movie Selma, it is a very good and emotional movie, because it teaches you that the theme of racism is very sad and horrible for people of race. I felt anger and helplessness because people were mistreated for just being a different skin color.Everyone's whites were making fun of blacks. Now, fortunately, they have the same rights as other people.

My feelings after watching the film Selma .
After seeing Selma, I was struck with so many emotions: happiness, anger, confusion, hopelessness. I was torn. On the one hand, I already knew about Bloody Sunday, so I wasn’t surprised by the images of the film — the real images had already left their mark. On the other hand, I thought it was very necessary, and I hoped other people did too.

This documentary has given the chance to realize what is going on in the world and some possibilities that could happen to the world. For example for people that works in small farms life is good and they work every day very hard to get their products. Small farms produce more than industrial farms because their objective is to get money. Furthermore in industrial farms they want to get money without thinking on the consciences it can produce. If we started to work in organic farming we could get the necessaries for the city like in Detroit or Tedmorden. One of the phrases that shocked me and made me think was about "trash".
