Emergency kit

These are suggestions to follow in case of a new surge in the pandemic (or aliens, or whatever, we are ready for it this time!)

Feel free to add your own suggestions.

    Please, take care of yourself.

If you're sick, or in need of emotional care, it is important to look after yourself first. The same goes if you are in charge of someone who needs your attention and care, of course.

    Maintain contact with your pupils

This must be anticipated. Make sure you can reach to your pupils in case of home-schooling (e.g. isolation or confinement).

    Useful mediums:

    • emails: check it beforehand, to make sure everyone is able to receive and send emails. This is highly recommended so you can send clear instructions and give precise help.

    • phone or video calls: this is handy to join a group, and there are many online tools available for that purpose. Besides, when isolating, it feels so good to hear familiar voices and see smiling faces.

    Upload letters, pictures and contents

From home, your pupils might still be able to produce letters, postcards, pictures, audio records, videos, or any sorts of contents involved in our project. In order to share it with us, you can upload their work in the MATERIALS section. Create a folder for your school.

From there, it is possible to link the productions of your pupils to any PAGES, or to other parts of the Twinspace. We can adapt the shape and content of this Twinspace to the needs of each of us, according to our respective situations, at any given time.

Make good use of various online tools

All these tools can be embedded into PAGES here, on the Twinspace, so that there is only one place to enter everything.

    • Scrumblr: create post-it boards.
    • Vocaroo: record your voice and share your audio.
    • Mentimeter: create polls, word clouds and more.
    • Padlet: create walls and share contents.
    • Gitmind: create collaborative mindmaps.
    • Framsoft: create collaborative documents, free of use and not referenced (safe data).
    • Powtoon: create short videos and visuals.
    • Genially: create great visuals, quizzes, presentations and more.
    • Pick and choose your best choice for creating collaborative magazines:
    • and if we are lost and need to organize all these tools into one page, there is Symbaloo :-)

Please feel free to add any suggestions.

We are in a job position which involves looking after other people. Please, remember to look after yourself too.
