Books from trash

STEP 1: OBSERVATION
Students watch a. images of artworks made from waste materials, identify the materials used and guess the artist’s message; b. a video about books transformed into artworks
STEP 2: REFLECTION
Students are asked to reflect on the meaning of producing such works
STEP 3: ACTION
Students are invited to collect non-hazardous waste materials at home and use them to transform an unused book of theirs
STEP 4: DOCUMENTATION AND SHARING
Pictures of the work are assembled to be shared with the other European partners on eTwinning and with the UNESCO community for the Trash Hack Campaign
