A) Description |
In this assignment you will gather information on personalities that have caused a lot of pain with their evil dids throughout history. You can gather information from the politics sector, or religion sector or even art.
You will create an online poster-map in which you will add:
1. A pinpoint for the location the person you ll write about was born
2. The name for each personality
3. A picture (If you 'd like you could also upload the picture on the "IMAGES" sector on Twinspace)
4. The information you gathered in a brief bullet point form
5. A link of a video/audio from some special moment that is worth mentioned.(If you 'd like you could also upload the video on the "VIDEOS" sector on Twinspace)

B) Assignments |
There are three categories: Racism - Environment - War. Each school team will deal with one of the categories and afterwards all students will read, watch and leave comments.
Escola Rosa Oriol will undertake and look for personalities in the "Environment" part
26th Gymnasium of Thessaloniki will undertake and look for personalities in the "War" part
Gymnasium of Rentina will undertake and look for personalities in the "Racism" part

E) Learning Objectives |
With this assignment students will search in history and time and gain valuable knowledge.
They will organise their investigation in short but essential bullet point forms, enriched by pictures and video/audio material, in order to create an online poster-map. This poster-map will be created by using "Zeemaps" web tool, so they will be engaged with a new and really fascinating computer based technology.
They will also enhance their english language skills by searching, writing, communicating.
Each school will undertake one of the 3 thematic axes and then all students will have to read and evaluate each other's work, using a padlet application. |
