The motivation of our project is to start acting as the planet is in danger, the quality of the environment is more and more degrading, pollution, global warming and over exploitation together with the diminishing of natural resources represent one of the biggest problems of humanity, not of Europe only. Solving these problems imply both authorities and each citizen equally. It is important to be familiar with these problems as early as possible and school learning is the best place to deal with such issues, to implement this topic into the curriculum, include it into project work and ideally on international level as it is global. Environmental problems represent a significant threat to the quality of life and economic vitality of urban areas as well as the natural balance of rural areas. “Think globally, act locally” The future of a green and clean planet depends on each individual and on the communities.
