It is time to start our second activity. Our subject is Animals and our task is making puppets.

Let me share the idea with you.

There will be three teams:

1.group : Farm Animals and Pets

2.group : Wild Animals

3. group : Ocean Animals and Birds

The teams will be created just to group the animals and to be able to include as many animals as possible.

Team members will work individually with their own students.

Instead of just making finger puppets, let's make our kids use their imagination and let them create their puppets whatever way they like. I mean they can design finger puppets or hand puppets. They can use any kind of materials such as paper, foam, felt, spoon, etc...

After creating the puppets, we will record short videos of the kids using the puppets. ( Just zooming the kids' hands and the puppets) The kids will introduce their animal puppets with a few easy sentences.

(It is a hamster. It is small. It has got four legs. It can run. etc...)

The videos will be uploaded on Flipgrid. ( I will create and share the links with you)

At the end of the activity, we will watch all the videos with our students in our classes.

We ( as teachers) can create an easy online quiz ( each teacher can add one question ) about the animals in the videos to evaluate the activity.

Deadline to make the puppets and upload the videos will be the end of February.
