Hello!
We are the 4th Grade, a class of 16 pupils (D1 ), at a public school in southern Greece. The name of our school is 18th Elementary school and the name of our city is Kalamata, a beautiful city near the sea. You can say, our school is not very far from the lovely beach. You can learn more about our school and our city through our eTwinning activities this year.
Unfortunately, one of our fellow students is moving house next week and there will be 15 of us left. But she will come back next year.
So... you can all learn what' s new in our school and class if you visit this page regularly.
Miss Nancy and class
Happy eTwinning, everyone!!
This is our school, 18th Elementary (18 Dimotiko in Greek)
To celebrate Halloween at school yesterday, we played the Stick-the-wart-on-the-witch game. We chewed gum (lemon flavour!!) and then we stuck it on the witch - blindfolded! Some of us stuck it on the hair, the eyes and the eyebrows, others on the clothes and the hat of the witch, but some got the face, the chin and the nose! Such an ugly, disgusting witch! But it was fun!!
Happy Halloween!!
Hello, everyone!!
It' s November already and in our English class we are learning about sports and hobbies. Now we can talk about the sports and hobbies we and our friends like and what sports are popular around the world. We'd like to share a game with you. You can play it on your tablet or mobile phone if you scan this code!
* If you want to learn a couple of Greek words, Λύση (lissi) means Solution and Ξανά (ksana) means Again.
Bye!!

Today we went to the post office to post Christmas cards and letters to our pen pals. There were four teams and each one posted one envelope. The students asked for a stamp, paid for it and got their change. Then they put the stamp on the envelope and posted it. It was a great experience for everybody! Then we went to the cinema near our school to watch "Santa' s apprentice". We all liked that film! After that, we went to a large football field by coach. We played football, did gymnastics and... watch our slideshow for the rest!
