FASE 1 - INFORMACIÓN GENERAL ( STAGE 1 - GENERAL INFORMATION)

  • ABOUT THE PROJECT

In this project pupils will share their national cultural and artistic expressions such as traditional music and dance. Flamenco will be one of the star styles as world's intangible cultural heritage.
The main aim of this project is to enhance intercultural understanding. Pupils will mutually benefit from having an opportunity to explore other cultures, beliefs, societies and languages. The project will also contribute to pupils personal growth and open mindedness about cultural diversity.
Furthermore, throughout the project, pupils will gain consciousness of their own culture and acknowledge common features and differences with others.
Exploring music and dance could also be a great opportunity to value, motivate and integrate pupils who are only interested in any other academic themes.

    AIMS

The main of the project are:
    1. Take consciousness of pupil's own national cultural and artistic expressions
    2. Exchange them
    3. Find common features and differences
    4. Get to know other relevant aspects of countries involved
    5. Improve pupils key competences, notably digital, communication in foreign languages and social and civic competences
6.Mutually benefit from an intercultural experience

    WORK PROCESS

-Opening a Twinspace will allow the schools involved to have a working platform to collaborate. Pupils will actively collaborate uploading resources and taking part in collaborative activities. Teachers will also exchange resources.
Responsibilities will be agreed and shared as we will try that all countries contribute to the project equally.
The project will start in March and last until June 2020.
We will try to contribute to the project on a weekly basis.
An approximate calendar of activities includes:
-Presentation of pupils, cities and school: March
-Sharing pupils own national cultural and artistic expressions: April
-Learning from European cultural diversity: April
    -Production of final outputs: May
    -Assessment and Dissemination: June

    EXPECTED RESULTS

The project will include many final outputs and results.
