In this project pupils will share their national cultural and artistic expressions such as traditional music and dance. Flamenco will be one of the star styles as world's intangible cultural heritage. The main aim of this project is to enhance intercultural understanding. Pupils will mutually benefit from having an opportunity to explore other cultures, beliefs, societies and languages. The project will also contribute to pupils personal growth and open mindedness about cultural diversity. Furthermore, throughout the project, pupils will gain consciousness of their own culture and acknowledge common features and differences with others. Exploring music and dance could also be a great opportunity to value, motivate and integrate pupils who are only interested in any other academic themes.
