LONG TERM MOBILITIES

  • Students are hosted for threee months in a different country. We arrange a suitable timetable for them and special Erasmus projects.

Students abroad will help their host students disseminate project results and present Erasmus+ in general - either by using Etwinning or by doing presentations at the host school as a means of dissemination.

Linguistic support is also  provided and prior to this experience students and tutors will attend preparatory meetings organized by National Agencies.

We include this mobility in their Europass

They are confronted with real situations, enabling them to practice life-long learning skills promoted by the project: social and civic skills, communication, English, foreign languages, self-confidence, teamwork, and leadership competence. Participating in cooperative mixed groups in workshops helps develop all these skills as well as increase their awareness of climate change and how to find solutions.

They improve their language skills in spoken and written English (through diaries and other written work). Students improve transversal skills: critical and innovative thinking, interpersonal skills (presentation and communication skills, organizational skills, teamwork), intrapersonal skills (self-discipline, enthusiasm, perseverance, self-motivation), global citizenship (tolerance, openness, respect for diversity, intercultural understanding).

They live in a diverse atmosphere and see the values of other cultures, backgrounds, traditions, history, geography, and socio-economic context. Thus, they develop tolerance, intercultural understanding and acceptance of diversity. They become more flexible as they will need to adapt to different circumstances. They visit different places and have a better knowledge of the European Cultural Heritage.

Schools cooperation is developed to a higher degree thanks to these exchanges, gaining experience at international level. They adapt curriculum and courses enriching their methods and good practices.
