This project is intended to promote environmental awareness among students, school and community through the activities of the project. They will research environmental issues related to them at personal, local, national and international levels. They will realise they should value their environment as a lifelong learning, including a better understanding of their surroundings. In recent years environmental awareness has gained increased attention and it is an essential topic, taking into account all effects and consequences of human behaviour. Students need to be prepared to reduce human impact in the ecosystem, how to manage resources and waste, how to recycle, reduce and reuse as much as possible. Engaging students in discussions about the controversial issues is a good way to raise their consciousness and become responsible European citizens.
