Classroom, homeland, Europe

The aim of the project is to bring cultural and historical inheritance of homeland closer to pupils from Croatia, France and Poland using web 2.0 tools and learn outside the classroom going on outdoor education visiting museums, castles, churches getting to know different local features. Partners of the project are planning to cover the educational material of 3rd grade through project teaching. Pupils will work in groups, i.e. interaction, coopearation and agreement as mush as possible, using TwinSpace, forums, email, presentations, videos…We plan to make an e-travelogue as final product of this project. It will include photographs, drawings, texts, impressions, legends, myths, stories and other materials collected through project activities from October 2015 till January 2016. Activities: October- ice breaking activities, getting to know each other, exchange of photographs of homeland ( using TwinSpace, uploading photos and texts, impressions about it on Padlet), use photos as motivation for writing, make a short video about ourselves and the town/ place we live in. November- A Book Month workshop- a workshop that will include activities to promote reading, books, libraries, learning, creativity…; we will read some travelogues and think about how to write one, what to visit, discover and see in partner's countries ( to be creative, critical thinking, enterprising…), we will exchange that materials using TwinSpace, Skype, forum. December- workshop «Past, present, future»- using ICT, write about our homeland in past, present and how do we see it in future, be creative, use imagination, use different sources like encyclopedias, magazines, books, Internet, explore asking parents, grandparents, friends, neighbors, teachers… January- completion of activities, evaluation, collect the materials and make e-travelogue.
