Energy Efficiency Day- October 7th, 2020

  • Energy conservation is important and beneficial for many reasons. You can save money, increase your property value, and protect the environment all through simple energy-saving measures. These are great benefits you can gain from saving energy no matter your exact motivation for conservation in the first place. By simply taking a small step towards living a more energy-conscious lifestyle, you can begin to enjoy all of the perks of being energy efficient.

On the 7th of October we celebrated Energy Efficiency Day. Participants  from Greece, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Spain and Turkey took part in an online meeting where they discussed about different ways of saving energy. Students created posters and flyers on this topic. They also took part in a debate where they talked about actions undertaken in their local environment, what they do at home and at school to save energy.

All students came with very interesting presentations and our goal was to share tips, tools and stories that promote the multiple benefits of energy efficiency, from lower costs to healthier homes. Energy efficiency is the cheapest, quickest way to meet our energy needs, cut consumer bills and reduce pollution. We concluded that every one of us should help in order to have a healthier planet.
