  • GERMAN SCHOOL

    The Oberschule Bad Essen is a rural secondary school located in Lower Saxony about 20 km from the next big city (Osnabrück).

    Bad Essen is a health resort on the edge of the Wiehengebirge, which is part of the nature and geopark TERRA.vita. Important economic activities of the region are diverse and include the metal working industry as well as gastronomy and tourism.   

    Our school has 55 teachers and 560 students from 5th to 10th grade (students are about 10 to 16 years old) (www.oberschule-badessen.de).

    PORTUGUESE SCHOOL

    The General Serpa Pinto School Group, in Cinfães, has students from 3 years to 15 years, with a total of almost 900 students (www.aecinfaes.pt). 

    Cinfães is a small village of Viseu district with about 3500 inhabitants. The county has about 22000 inhabitants spread over more than 100 villages. The village is located between the Montemuro Mountains and the Douro River.

    The landscape is dominated by very irregular relief, with many elevations, valleys and rivers, dominating the green vegetation. Agriculture and animal husbandry are important economic activities through the rurality of the region.

    SPANISH SCHOOL

    Fernando de los Ríos School is located in the beautiful historical Andalusian city of Ronda, Málaga, in the south of Spain.

    Our students`s ages range from 3 to 16 years old. Most of our students enter kindergarten when they are 3 and stay up to their last year of Secondary Education.

    The school has 24 teaching classrooms together with chemistry and computer laboratories, 2 music rooms, a sports centre and three playgrounds. There are more than 500 hundred students and 50 teachers.

    We are a friendly school that fosters teaching methodologies suitable for all students in mixed-abilities classes.

    The school plays a significant role in the local community interacting by means of cooperation with the local authorities.
